Jun Liu

Dr. Jun Liu is a Laboratory Fellow at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), and the Director of the Battery500 Consortium funded by the US Department of Energy. He served as the Director of the Energy Processes and Materials Division at PNNL and the Crosscut Science Lead for the Joint Center for Energy Storage Research (JCESR). He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and a Fellow for the Materials Research Society (MRS). He has more than 350 peer reviewed publications and more than 55 issued US patents. He has been named a Distinguished Battelle Inventor, PNNL Inventor of the Year and has twice received BES Awards for Significant Impact on DOE Technologies and twice received the R&D 100 Awards. Jun is also one of the most cited chemists and materials scientists in the world
